A Statement on Palestine

Slo-Mo Books is against the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza. We call for an immediate and permanent ceasefire and move to end the occupation of Palestine. We are for the right to return for all Palestinians living in exile.

We at slo-mo books are a loose collection of people who oppose the continued exploitation in the cultural sector. We recognise the difficulties in organising within the arts due to the core precarity of existence as arts workers. We will move and remove our labour to where we see fit.

We are writers against occupation, writers against genocide, against the class system, against ableism, against the 3 structural pillars that divide us from each other and our continual flourishing: capitalism, (hetero)patriarchy and white supremacy.
