Whilst I was looking after two very newborn twins, I was looking for a project that was in parts mindnumbing and mindful. I'd had this idea to do a kind of redacted poem using Wittgenstein's On Certainty for a while, and set about the task over the course of about 2 years. The poem itself is quite short, but takes a while to thumb through all the black. I have included drawings of all (I think) of the proper nouns that are referenced in Wittgenstein's text. Naming things is a funny way to be.
